A. Lee Viliesis

​     Lee received her BFA in Theater Design with a concentration in Costumes from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts, where she graduated magna cum laude.
     She has been specializing in costume design, while actively working in the costume shops including Dorset Theatre Festival, Theatre by The Sea, Virginia Stage Company and Opera Theater of St. Louis. She is currently the Production Manager at Merrimack Repertory Theatre.
     She has designed and assisted on shows at many levels from small black box theaters,  to touring education shows and main stages produtions.
     Included in her education was a internship at Barbara Matera Ltd., where she worked with every level of their staff, adding to her knowledge of detail, intricacy, and timeliness that is required for the construction of Broadway level costumes.  Including, but not limited to, extensive work on costumes for the Minsky Girls in the Patti LuPone revival of Gypsy.
